The Cholter's Lawyer starting up Body Scarfer, 12a

Average Rating = 1.00/5 The Cholter's Lawyer starting up Body Scarfer, 12a

This route starts out on perfect overhanging granite features, then pulls a roof and leads into some sequential slab climbing to the chains of Slave Labor. The route was recently resurected after the blanket of moss covering it was removed. The lack of inactivity is not because it's a bad route (it's actually very good), it's probably the 12a grade (still a big grade around here) that keeps folks away.

Mike Mclure, in the cave, 13d

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Mike Mclure, in the cave, 13d

Mike Mclure is feeling gravity in the cave on this 13d project that he almost sent (pumped out at the chains) after this photo was taken. No doubt he will finish it (thus stealing one of my projects. Evil little man) upon his next return to the cliff.

Marty Bland 13d project

Average Rating = 3.12/5 Marty Bland 13d project

This is a project that will most likely be finished with cooler temperatures. It will only be the second completed route in this cave since the routes are extremely difficult offering little in the hand and footlhold department. Marcus is a spring/fall crag.

Mike Mclure on, I'm your Hero, 13a

Average Rating = 3.86/5 Mike Mclure on, I'm your Hero, 13a

Mike is probably on the hardest pull you'll find on this route, but by the time you get to the more delicate crimping above, you will probably be too pumped to hold on. Sorry, better luck on your second onsight attempt. :)

Brett Jessen, Freeballing, 12c

Average Rating = 3.33/5 Brett Jessen, Freeballing, 12c

The route is only about 40ft long and gently overhanging. The moves are power oriented on manufactured holds. Good route none the less.

Jeff Landers, Bottom 1/2 of Tractor Boy, 13c

Average Rating = 3.50/5 Jeff Landers, Bottom 1/2 of Tractor Boy, 13c

If you go to the Riggins Cave with the proper endurance then Tractor Boy, 13c, is the route you must attempt. There is a no hands, upsidedown bat hang in the middle of the ceiling. This is also considered the half way point and is also called Tractor Girl, 13a. After the no hands there is some dead horizontal climbing followed by an overhanging headwall. This is a very impressive route by most standards.

Average Rating = 3.83/5 Bryan Raymon on Mental Warfare, 12c/d, Deep Creek, Washington

Mental Warfare, 12c, is a 120 degree overhanging blunt arete. I'ts a thuggy and powerful climb involving a lot of slapping, thrutchy type movements. There really isn't a crux (much like most of the routes at Deep Creek) you just have to hold on till y
