Ron L. is shown here at the top of Brinton's Crack, after a great climb. Brinton's Crack was one of the most picturesque routes at devil's lake that we scaled. Ron was very happy with it, as you can tell by his grin. The photographer of this picture was his daughter, Lisa L.

This is Laura L. age 14 attacking the crux of Gargantua in the Old Sandstone area of Devil's Lake, Wisconsin. The route starts off hard, with a large roof about 15 feet up. It's a great challenge for the determined climber, and delivers a strong sense of satisfaction. The photographer here was Ron L, Laura's Dad.
