Lava Point at SunsetOn the way to Lava Point Campground just inside Zion National Park property. The campground, though listed as primative is actually quite nice, only a handful of sites (8) but has a pit toilet and well maintained sites, if in Zion and you can't find a place to camp, ask about this campground. It is a bit of a drive, about 30-40 min from the western gate. This was the drive up the the campground around sunset in early June

Bronzed GermanSubject is my German friend Knut who over the process of our trip got very tan. After we both failed at leading the route we gave it a try on top rope. (after I do a little research I'll be able to list the route's name). Early June 2003.

Home in time for dinnerPhoto was taken just prior to sunset on our trek back to Curry village. Had done some sweet boulder problems that night for pre-dinner entertainment right beside the road going into Curry. Subjects are my friend Meredith Lee and Knut. Times were great in the valley minus the seemingly infinite mosquito population during June.

Looking out over the CityThis was taken in early June in the City of Rocks near Almo Idaho. Dark corners on an edge due to a crappy Polarizing Filter (Suggestions Photo buffs?). If you ever have the opportunity to go to CoR, go! Camping there is right between the rocks pictured practically, it's very unique. Subject is a good friend of mine Knut who I traveled with for 3 weeks this summer. Here he is taking a break after day 2 of 3 in CoR
