“WTF?” Looking back up towards the route after bailing due to awful weather, poor visibility, route finding problems and terribly verglased slabs. Reno and I have decided to call the route "I think I'm going to snow up" after we get back to finish it.

Sharpie topping out on the Petit. From the Pizza Pan to the summit is one of the most mellow yet most excitingly exposed pitches out there. This pic does not do it justice.

This picture is a little old, but I believe that in this shot I am about halfway up the first pitch of the center route. 14,000' elevation and lots of dirt, lichen, and other vegetation along the way provide a real "alpine" experience only 30 minutes from the car!

The Crestones. This shot was taken on the approach to the Crestone Peak, looking south from the edge of the Bear's Playground. Visible in the background is the gnarley connecting ridge between the Crestone's Peak and the Needle.
