Its a T joint and two elbows glued and taped. the webbing constricts with the weight.

The reason I left the space in the middle unfinished is for the little ones to climb like a jungle gym.

There is a crack on the right side and ajustable angle,it brakes down to an eight foot and a six foot sections. the kids will love it (thats what I tell my wife)
