An optimistic runner on Bard!

Average Rating = 0.00/5 An optimistic runner on Bard!

Cam makes a token attempt to protect the factor 2 fall as he leaves the third belay on the 3* classic Bard (12) at Mt Arapales. Fortunately he found a better placement a move later as the first sling was quickly removed in the windy conditions.

Late fall view from High Exposure Belay

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Late fall view from High Exposure Belay

Last fall we took a cold, but beautifully clear November day off work and finally found High Exposure free of the weekend crowds. As Noobs we had been working up to this all year - it was also our 10th Wedding aniversary (ahh....) so a very special day for us when we both led the final pitch. Picture taken from the final belay ledge.

Blackcomb Glacier on a Powder Day

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Blackcomb Glacier on a Powder Day

I know this photo has nothing to do with climbing, but I love this view back up the Blackcomb Glacier on a rare sunny powder day at Whister. The two days of rain and two days of whiteout conditions were all worth it for this run....
