More Proof of the NON-Crampon Ascent!

Average Rating = 0.00/5 More Proof of the NON-Crampon Ascent!

I think that T. Phillips renamed the CCC falls "Slippery Pete" after his heroic ascent on Dec. 18th, 2005

AND THE AWARD GOES TO...

Average Rating = 0.00/5 AND THE AWARD GOES TO...

T.Phillips: for the non crampon/boot ascent of CCC falls in Joes Valley, Utah. This is a snap of the slick-shoed man himself enjoying the top of the route and the walk/slide down. He only slipped once, bruising the palm of his hand. -tda

T.Phillips soloing

Average Rating = 0.00/5 T.Phillips soloing

Most of Willard Falls can be easily soloed. T.Phillips sans rope climbing the wet and sticky ice. This is about 175' before the end of the route.

The 1st pitch of Willard Falls

Average Rating = 0.00/5 The 1st pitch of Willard Falls

Troy Anderson climbing the first pitch of the plastic and wet Willard Falls. Easy and fun ice climbing. Better than the Great White Icicle because you don't have to dodge death blocks that the crowds are kicking off above you.

The best ice near Ogden

This is on top of Willard Falls. Nothing like a sharp axe sticking in a tree! These are the new Black Diamond tree axes!

Willard Canyon Falls

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Willard Canyon Falls

This route is above Willard. I put it in the Joes section, because there is not a Willard section. Good, fat, low-angled, plastic ice to enjoy. Go early and enjoy. Only bring a few screws and one rope. A easy-moderate must do! Better than the Great White Icicle...less people.

Via Ferrata comes to Utah!!!

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Via Ferrata comes to Utah!!!

We stumbled upon a few via ferrata "routes" while looking for ice. Easiest "climbing" I've ever done. I recommend everyone should pull on a few re-bar holds! Here we have Slippery Pete pulling hard! Peace -tda

Topo

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Topo

As to the best of my memory, the topo is fairly accurate. All (x's) represent bomber bolts. All (p's) represent fixed pitons. The possible variation is highly recommended as it is probably the more natural way to summit the spire.

Full flavor Coors on the 4th pitch

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Full flavor Coors on the 4th pitch

Here's the prove of the beer. Note that this is a bottle rather than the lightweight aluminum alternative. I think this is a shot of T.Phillips beers on his birthday. What wonderfull and wobbly views. I must say that people shouldn't drink and climb.

Average Rating = 5.00/5 Where is "Sphinter Fire"?

We are the originals. Where is Sphincter Fire? I don't know where that is. Did I name something that? Did Cloyd name something "Sphincter Fire". We forgot. The Wash is good. Don't let anyone tell you different. DB says it's better than Ibex. 'Nuf said. Ib
