Finally! Time to move on.Setting up the top out. After 15 tries and two visits I finally finished this so called V1. Personally I think it goes much harder. But what do I know.

Sandstone Yoga #4Final shot in the series. Grabing the rail after dyno. From here reach high for a sloper to a crimp bumb and close out the problem. This problem is good fun.

Sandstone Yoga #1This is a variation of a V1 problem that climbs the Arete head on, on side pulls. Thought this problem goes a little tougher at maybe V2-V3. (see the rest of the series)

Living the namePancaking my face to the wall just about to scramble to find some property for my right foot. Tough because of your positioning you can't see your feet. Then reach for a crimp with your right hand to finish out the move.

Canyon Boulders V4 Mantle with Sit StartFun, short, tuff mantle problem V4 with sit start. I think one of the most classic lower grade problems.

New HeightsThe classic Wedgie Arete. Simply highball slab arete. Knee knocking. For real fun try the three highball slab routes to the left of this problem.

OH S@#T!This problem is 15ft off the deck and rated 5.9 - V0. Moves uo to where I am in the photo are simple. The top out is super sketchy. No positive holds over the top, just a huge slab of sloppers. Toke a couple of good falls trying to roll over onto my right foot. Super fun problem, if only for the sheer comitment to top out.

First Trad AscentDuring Climb Smart 2005 I was offered a follow spot on my first trad ascent. This was a crack that we added to the Omega route in the North face of the Campfire Crag.
I now know a little more about what it's like to walk up to a rock and draw some of your own lines and sew it all together. FREEDOM!
