This is a fun route... just a 5.8, but it's my second lead ever. This was about 4 months after breaking my ankle on the second lead fall I ever took, which happened to be the first lead climb I ever tried, so I was glad to finish without incident.

My first lead climb... I take an easy fall, and my friend Ron misses it with his camera. He decides to set the camera to take rapid-fire photographs, and he catches my second lead fall ever. Look at my left ankle, and you can see the medial malleolus breaking off.

Thank god for ropeguns - namely my brother Adam.
