This is a shot of my Dad took of me just as the sun was setting, looking down the Bow Valley towards Canmore. We on our way back from a day of ice climbing and stopped at a road side drip so I could try out my LA Sportiva's.

Just looking.. The ice on the pool wasn't even thick enough to stand on yet.

Mount McGillivray, Alberta Canada. I have been climbing with my Dad for a year now and been leading for a few months. Between Christmas and birthdays I have been able to get a rack of my own together.

This was one of my first climbs. This was before I got my climbing helmet for Christmas and am wearing my skateboard helmet, better then nothing I guess.

This was one of my first times at Wasootch Slabs. It looks like I am on a run out lead, but I am actually cleaning a short pitch and am tied in the middle of the rope.

This is at a place called "5-mile rappel". It is in the Kananaskis area and it's name comes from the fact that it was 5-miles from Camp Adventure. They used to take the campers there and teach them how to rappel.

This is me Jumaring in my Dad’s apartment. I would jumar up, the rappel back down.

This was my first time ice climbing. Since then I bought a pair of Black Diamond Viper Ice axes and can’t wait to use them.
