Got to the summit just in time for the lightning and rain to start. As I was setting the timer to take this pic, my headphones started to make a loud buzzing/crackling sound. Headed down as fast I could and managed to literally stay about 5 steps ahead of the rain for the first hour.

Stephen Brauer catching the sloper on "heroin". It has been many moons since I was there and cannot recall the name of the area or boulder. Can someone PM me the area and boulder so I can put the pic in the right spot. Cheers.

randy reed leading the first pitch of american demon, on what might be the first winter ascent. if i remember correctly it was in january 99. the lack of a long day and the unwillingness to start alpine style, we ran out of light before we ran out of climb.
