Here is the north side of parking lot rock from the top of window rock.

Steinfell's Dome (the city's largest formation) and Jackson's thumb host a number of routes, as well as a great possibility for new ones. Theater of Shadows is only bolted climb on J's Thumb. The dome has Sinocranium and the Southwest Buttress. Very slabby, moderate climbs.

Here is the rebarred section of the class 4 route. Fun climb and a great down climb for all the other routes on Bath Rock.

The rebar route can be found on the West side of Bath rock. In this picture, it is located on the ledge in the center. People are below it.

A Boise climber catching us on the last pitch of Theater of shadows. They were fast.

The rappel off of Theater of Shadows. Actually my first rappel where I was fully in the air. This route can be lowered with one 60 meter rope using two rappel stations with chains (you can also rappel the from the summit and then do very easy down climbing) or two 50 or 60 meter ropes, as we did in the picture.

Just getting out this season on a very nice February day.

Tall section of the East Side of the Lake Channel Area. This area is full of potential climbing.

Here is one of the bolted routes we found on the Box Full of Sharp Objects wall. It has a difficult overhang and and a hard looking face climb to a cold shut. If trying this route do not belay from the hill next to it, ha ha.

This is the cave and the large wall next to the sand dune. Lots of potential climbing.

Nice looking section of the No-South Wall. Really solid and full of potential lines.

Me on a rest ledge on J-crack. I couldn't make it past here on the crack.

Picture of Knuckle Peak in the Big Horn Crags of Idaho. The Rusty Nail is to the right of it. The nail's only been climbed once by an unknown climber, the rating is also unknown.

Dolly Parton is a steep 5.10b that is exposed right off the deck! Excellent sport climb.

Took a picture of someone on Reed's direct. She took 3 pretty good whips at the top OW section. The second pitch is 110' and seems to go on forever. Pumpy and fun!

Jerry climbing Poison Ivy Crack. It is an excellent hand crack and Jerry is not actually climbing the main crack, it is inside the corner. This was his first time crack climbing and as you can tell he is more of a face climber.

The corner is Private Idaho (5.9) and is 100 feet long. Collosus (.10c) is the face to the right of it and is the same length. Both are great routes.

At the top jug haul. Quite fun here. Some of the bolt hangers are old school leepers but the rest have been replaced. Could use some new chains.

Here's the south face of the South Sister. Probably the largest face at the city, currently closed to climbing. Several old school multi pitch routes exist on the face.

Here's a shady shot of MG Spire. The crack that is Skyline can be seen on the right of the face.
