Me on StavrakasKinda heavy post processing on this one with brutal level/ contrast adjustment on selective parts
of the picture, saturation decrease and cropping.
Not really my style and I am yet undicided if it looks good or not.
Thanks to Nikos for taking this picture.

A bit of "Chemistry"Weather is warming fast. It was time to take on a old favorite of Mikri Varasova. Nikos getting a taste of “Chemea” (Chemistry). Brilliant route and probably one of the bigger sandbags in Athens!

More ChemistryNikos in the middle of the second crux. The "thank god" hold lies just next to his right hand but he doesn't know it yet :)

Biggest chipping in the worldOk this is one of the routes which leaves you with trembling feet and a stupid smile on your face when you clip the anchors. Exhilarating and entirely unexpected moves
I took a series of photos of Andreas redpointing it and had lot of trouble to decide which photo to upload. I have chosen the least likely of the series (ignoring several technical/ composition no-no’s like the chopped climbers head, the overexposed upper part etc)
The reason why I have chosen this shot is to save a friends onsight attempt since he checks these pages and the most exiting move of the route is really unorthodox and huge giveaway ( I don’t want to spoil it for him:)
The other reason is that the closer shots do not depict the features of the whole wall and what it really is. The biggest and probably the oldest chipping in the world:) A man made half finished crack on an abandoned ancient quarry from 2 century BC!!!
Screw chipped holds! Here you got a whole chipped route and one that’s 2000 years old :)

Ode to the Z-Axis, Plakias, CreteIt’s not easy to appreciate the sheet flatness of the wall. It feels kind of desperate when you first approach it.
