Optimal and various options for protection. Do or don't clip the 1st and/or 2nd bolts of the route to the left to protect the strenuous boulder problem for the first 15 feet, abundant natural protection for the remaining 54 feet.

Description:
The second route to the right of the burgled arete, this route sat fallow for 8 years before I came to appreciate it's value. The longest route at McClellen, over some of it's best terrain. Cheat-step-start climbs directly up the wall using 3 or 4 crack systems.Descent Options:
Lame-o chain anchor without fixed 'biners, it looks as though this was someone's first attempt at building a sport anchor.

I'm a big chicken
I top roped this to clean off the gear placed by the legend Arden Pete. I don't see me leading this route anytime soon.
It is a rate G top rope. The lead is a little more PG13/R

My first and favorite route at Mclellen
The start is probably v5, which is harder to rhyme than v4
