Description:
Another alternative to the start of the S. Ridge route. It meets up with e S. Route on lunch ledge after three pitches of chimney and flaky face climbing (5.8, 5.8, 5.6). Scramble up the talus to the west of the S. Ridge route and past the first route covered in tat, start up the chimney/offwidth system to a sling belay 45m up. Continue through flakes to the right of the roofs to another comfy sling belay. Finish on easier blocky terrain. Beware of bail tat leading you off route!

Makes a faster start to the S Ridge and bypasses the sandbagged crux pitch. Some loose rock, interesting route finding, fun climbing.
