Description:
10 pitches or so. Some can be mixed together in a simul climb. The first pitch can be a bit confusing. Follow the flakes shown on the topo here, but after traversing right out to a nice, stainless steel bolt, you need to continue traversing up and right to a third big flake for the 5.6 version. If you follow the button-heads above the stainless bolt instead of continuing the traverse it goes at about .10a. After the first pitch just follow the prominent cracks up middle of the face. Very Fun.

Great multi pitch
made it most of the way until a storm system scared us off.

Fall Splendor at Slickrock!
Climbed with Frank Gould at peak of fall colors with aspen and larch ablaze. Started at 9 am and topped out about 3:30. First time for us both. Impressive route requiring some route finding and setting belay anchors on steeper sections. Would recommend an upgraded rating to 5.7+ due to a few stiff moves and runouts. Take plenty of long runners to avoid rope drag. We merged with the 5.8 sport route to the left for the final two pitches. Probably not a great route for newly minted leaders. Some loose rock nexting on ledges that could be swiped off by rope. Did one tree rappel in the steep section of the gully to climbers' right off the top.

Tick
Fun route. Did this with my wife Ash. Incredible position. Runouts are a bit heady and probably not suited for someone breaking into 5.6. And the route is probably more like 5.8 all things considered. First pitches are runout but easy, middle section is fun and sort of scrappy for the grade (probably where I would call it as hard as 58 in places). Last couple pitches are a bit contrived. Great rock. Hot day. So much friction! 3 stars for lack of bomber gear, runouts, & slightly sandbag rating.

FUn
Kinda funky route finding cause there and lots of unprotectable bits. If you get off route you can easily find yourself pulling 5.10 moves on run-out.

Regular Route run 2
Second time on the route, last time 12 years ago. The move in the middle (wide chimney/deep fists) still tough for 5.6 and a pack! Bring shoes for the walk off and enjoy the views. Marginal gear on some pitches. Old pin scars take med nuts well. PG 13 for lack of BOMBER gear on route. Getting old and scared. Great rock.
