Description:

Near the extreme right end of the tree covered ledge, find a perfect inside corner capped by a 6' roof.
P1. Climb the corner (3 pins) and traverse right under the roof (crux). Above the roof fun, easy climbing leads to one of the most awesome belay ledges on Cathedral.
P2. Follow the corner easily until it ends, then traverse left (second crux- two options here, either high or low) until you can exit up the top of Upper Refuse. Best to not place any pro after the traverse to protect the second (or use double ropes).

4 out of 5 stars The Book

Second pitch threw me for a loop. Found the lower option to be better.

4 out of 5 stars first pitch only

led the first pitch. err... i think it was 5.7 a0, with how i stepped on the pins. i couldn't help myself. they were right there. and, the alternative was having good slab technique. maybe next time, i'll be brave enough...

5 out of 5 stars Best Climb on Cathedral

I haven't done a lot at Cathedral but this is the best climb I've done their. The crux of the first pitch felt hard because it was hot and greasy. I went high for the second pitch crux. i wouldn't recommend it. Not only did it feel insecure and balancy it also didn't have the best options for pro. At least if you fall going low you don't have a big pendulum fall.
