Description:
SDS, go up the rounded backside of the boulder down the hill from the Bates Arete. Starts on a deep hueco (left hand) and a sloper on the face for the right hand. Everything left of the arete is off, and the topout is through some greasy slopers. Yeah, it's contrived, but a true Castle classic...

First Known Ascent
Another of my favorite contrivances! I first called the route Mr Clean some time in the late 90s, I forget exactly when... My most recent ascent was just three days ago.
I called it V3 back then, but who knows. Ratings suck...

Up
Start at the very bottom (sit down start), with the small hueco +pinch below the sloper and bucket.
