Description:

This is in my opinion the best of the 5.6's in the Gunks. I thought it beat High E. It has a hanging belay, beautiful views and a nice little ceiling at the end of the last pitch. Recommend skipping the first belay and going right to hanging belay. The climb can be done in 2 pitches. Starting at the crack and climbing up to the ledge rather then scrambling to the first belay makes for a better climb. A black Alien is buried in a crack shortly past the first belay. Don't waste your time-it is buried!

5 out of 5 stars steep fun jug hauling

We did P1 Columbia to Madame G's. A great combination especially since I do not like P1 of Madame G's.

5 out of 5 stars NIce, fun, steep jug haul

Hardest part for me is leaving the ground. the 5.4 face is kind of reachy for me.

5 out of 5 stars Climbed this as a party of 4-Like a bunch of Noobs

Had fun, but actually went up a much harder, sustained line. My leader was off route. I lead P1 of Columbia, partner lead 2/3. Simulclimbed P2/3 with one of our group members.

5 out of 5 stars stellar

Led p1 and then linked 2 and 3 which made for an amazing long pitch of great climbing. Good moves on bomber holds, and a plethora of good placements. I loved this climb.
