Description:

The Junkyard/New River mega-classic. Climb the wide crack in the left-facing dihedral to gain a roof. Pass the roof via lieback and continue directly up through Gunks-style roofs. Move up left into an alcove, just below the top, and finish with an awkward slot up a panel to the top (5.9+ version). You can also exit up the right wall, (this is 5.9). Phil Wilt and Carl Samples mastered this mother in November of '83

5 out of 5 stars I had cleaned this a while back

and got around to leading it. Super fun climb. Some polished feet getting up to the steeper parts and then jug haul up a series of short roofs.
