Description:

A good 4-pitch route up the steep, smooth granite of the left face (right of Unknown??? 5.8). Pitch 1 is a steep, bolted 5.10 slab route that angles up and left across Unknown??? to a 2-bolt belay 80' up. Pitch 2 moves up the slab w/ a spot of 5.8 and ends another 80' higher at a 2-bolt belay. Pitch 3 scambles easy (5.0) slab to a belay ledge under the prominent summit roof. Walk left to descend or continue on to summit. Pitch 4 is an excellent bolted 5.11 pitch over the roof to the summit.

4 out of 5 stars Fun...

Kind of a one move wonder. Good climb though.

3 out of 5 stars Climbing with Tristan

Did the first 3 pitches. I believe the last pitch should be considered a separate climb. 5.10b for the first pitch 5.9 for the second 5.0R for the last. 2 and 3 can be combined. I hung the last pitch.

5 out of 5 stars tough stuff

followed on the first pitch. begins with tough (but fun) moves, harder than 10b if you asked me, but continues with great stuff. be warned that the 5.0 finish is not protected at all. if you are at all spooked the rappell is easy enough. just remember to tie knots at the ends of your rope.

We just did the first pitch. Nasty first bolt placement and crux moves right at the start and a wicked fall if you blow it. Grabs your attention early!
