Description:

Newly bolted climb, does not appear in Thompson or Cater. Start on the slab in the crevice to the left of Cluster Bombs, to the left of your first bolt. At second bolt, emerge from crevice and continue up a crack. After 4th or 5th bolt, step across crevice and continue up face to shuts. Very heady for a 5.7+. Update 6/24/07: The 1st bolt of this climb has broken the rock it was embedded in and had the hanger/nut removed. Crack near the first bolt takes medium cams, or highball the start.

4 out of 5 stars na

Sport led up to next to last bolt. I too feared the consequences of taking a fall while climbing to the last bolt. I think it is heady for the grade. I think this route will be fun once I get more lead experience. I ended up top roping after my partner led the route.

5 out of 5 stars Use your butt, Luke

First time getting into a chimney, felt awesome - sandstone friction was amazing. Finish was heady, but mostly due to imagined consequences of talking a fall.
View from the top is really nice, should be even better when leaves are down.

5 out of 5 stars First fall at the NRG

One fall at the last (5th) bolt. I don't recommend repeating my move.
