Description:

Start down and to the right of Candy Corner at a 10' tall, 4' wide breakdown beneath a small chimney. Climb the chimney. Feels easier than its grade.

3 out of 5 stars First pitch is highly vegetated.

Lots of loose rocks and vegetation on the first pitch. I didn't lead it, but I think it feels easier than a 5.4. The only vertical climb your have to do is right before the belay ledge. Second pitch is fun.

4 out of 5 stars Good Route

Climbed the corner next to the chimney. Gear was so-so. We did this in two pitches to facilitate rope drag (one up to the easyer stuff, then from there to the skyline traverse bolts. A fun climb to provide some variety from candy corner.

3 out of 5 stars Seis de Mayo 2007!

Small gear and equalized old pins, what can you say?

When I got to the chimney, I went slightly left and climbed the inside right-facing corner next to the chimney and stepped onto the top of the flake that makes the right side of the chimney -- mo fun!
