Description:

This striking line is visible from the loop road, it is the obvious break in the Northeast face of Bridge Mountain high above Icebox Canyon. It can be approached via Rocky Gap road or via Frigid Air Buttress through the Maze. Although the climbing is easy, the adventure here lies in the approach!

Drove up Rocky Gap and hiked in from west. Fun day, very scenic.

Free Soloed this route. Came into the area to climb via NE rocky gap road.

Be prepaired for a lot of steep elevation hicking prior to climbing.

Water is also in short supply during the summer and late fall months so be prepaired.

It is actually more like 5.4 and the route doesn't take much gear, and all the lychen doesn't help. A striking line though. I did it with Jason M. in three pitches and a total of about 18 pieces placed...including anchors.
