Description:
I put up this very short practice aid route on the north side of the parking lot boulder. Four 1/4" rivets to 3/8" bolts at a belay anchor. Another four rivet gets you to the top anchor which has a nice chain/rap ring to rappel off of. The entire route is only 45 feet tall, but I intentionally broke it up into two pitches in order to give climbers a chance to work on a hanging belay set up and change over to the next pitch. A brief haul can be made to both anchors, as well so you can work out the hauling systems. Route traverses slighty right and gives a good opportunity for the follower to learn lowering out from fixed pro. Hell, bring the ledge and set it up from either anchor. Each has three well-spaced 3/8" bolts. C1

Good practice route
Solo-aided this yesterday. The crack at the base takes #1 and #2 Camalots for the bottom anchor. Rivets are fine, I used keyhole and cinch hangers. Route is overhung and traverses right. Only two bolts at each anchor, not three. The top anchor comes down right on top of a prickly thorn bush, which sucks. Otherwise a fine practice route. C1. Thanks Ed.
