60m isn't long enough. Use ultra long webbing at the anchor if you want to be able to lower.

First combo sport/trad lead
This was my first climb at Erock and first lead on granite. Runout between #1 and #2 bolt, with decking potential. A good distance between #2 and #3 bolt but you can place a small cam in the overlap. #3-#5 gets thin and then runout to the anchors with an option to place a small cam in a thin crack leading to anchors. Top out onto a solid ledge. 70m rope absolutely necessary if setting up TP.

Looks scary and dangerous to clip the second bolt.
But there are lots of good foot holds to get you there. Nice stout 5.8 climb that is pretty sustained.

Super Fun!
This is still one of my favorite leads in the park. The overlap makes it! Since there are few moves of this sort at ERock it is really cool. Many get hung up on the overlap but it is not that bad once you figure out the footing.

Easy slab, but...
Wow, is this ever old school. A fall at #2 would be a grounder - fortunately the climbing is easy from 1 to 2, but still....
2011OCT22: USE A 70M ROPE!!! A climber decked from 25 ft or so while lowering off on a 60 M rope with no knot on the end. Fortunately, he was flown out via Care Flight in stable condition.
