Description:

From the intersection of Mt. Thielsen Trail and the PCT (43*09'13N 122*04'51W), head up an unmarked trail to the east. Head up the eastern ridge, staying on the south side. Near the summit (43*09'09N 122*03'59W), you're going to circle around the summit towards the east and climb the NE face of the summit pinnacle. The last 50 ft is vertical climbing to the summit. There was (7-11-04) a sling tied around a large block. Summit is marked with USGS marker (43*09'10N 122*04'00W) and has pipe with climber's log. (GPS: NAD83=WGS84)

4 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

Didn't really seem like 5th class. Certainly not worth hauling up any gear for. There's only about 30 feet of sketchy stuff at the top, so you could just bring a length of webbing to give someone a line to pull on if they get scared.
