Description:
N E ridge route of the Acropolis; approach ~1hr from Midgely bridge. P1: face past a couple bolts then 5.10 crack to 5.9 bombay chimney or "50m dash" up 5.11 face past bolts, P2: 5.9 OW to 5.10a face then 5.10a roof (easier than it looks), 4th class x 150ft, P3: 5.9 "the nose" crack/ arete a bolt added on 2nd ascent. P4: 5.8 "dog leg crack" to below "the great roof", P5: 5.10a move right of the roof, then turn the arete up and up the face (scant pro plus a drilled angle), 4th class to the mitered summit. Rap the route: 100ft, then 160ft then 150ft then 4th class to rap 100ft and final 150ft rap.
