Description:

free the first pitch either via. the arete start (12b) or the Pose Down start (5.12c). CLimb the stunning 5.12a crack to a small ledge. Pitch 2 is a 5.11c mixed bolt and gear pitch. Pitch 3 is a awsome 11+ thin crack, 2 bolts and lots of brass nuts. pitch 4 is a 5.11 jug fest. Potential for big falls onto small gear.

The start is really hard and bouldery, so I tried and then pulled on a draw. Smith is wierd for bouldery starts; often they're really sandbagged. Anyway, the crack pitches are probably the best at Smith for the grade. Classic route, classic position.
