Description:
The top anchors of this route make for an easy access to the Ultimates of Pumphouse. Exit I-17, at Newman Park and head west a few miles, taking the second right side road. Park at a small cairn on the left as canyon views begin to show themselves. Head down the hill a couple hundred feet following cairns to the bolted rap station. The initial pitch (FA unknown) climbs flakes to a span then roof (10+) then flakes to anchors. 2nd pitch (Ultimate Frisbee) traverses right to a ledge past a bolt then up a corner, diagonalling further right under a roof(5.10), then face climbs past 2 bolts (and doubles of small gear) to the rim.Descent Options:
rap w/ dbl ropes to get in or fix one and leave it, climb yer way out!

Most terrifying climb I've done!
Beware! Loose, sandy, nebulous moves, sandbagged grade and serious committment make for a serious undertaking. An unbelievable accomplishment on the first ascent. Nice job Mark!
