Description:

Classic! Of the two Gemini cracks, this is the right one. Challenging direct start (best), although it is possible to traverse in from left to ledge. Fairly sustained, with a couple good rests. Great pro all the way. 50 ft. Shuts.

Far from classic. Hard and awkward for the grade.

5 out of 5 stars wow

I don't usually climb finger cracks but roped into the TR for this and quite enjoyed/endured this one. Actually managed a clean TR on the first go - if you don't count 1 false start! :D Felt it was quite the learning experience. If you don't know about fingerlocks, dealing with flared chimneys, and ring-lock grips you will by the time you reach the top. Felt really intense, harder than any 10a I'd been on, but I suspect technique would make that grade believable... had to clean the line so I went up a second time later and was totally thrashed, falling all the way up. Highly recommended!

3 out of 5 stars Good

A bit short for the New. Lower section is hard if you don't traverse in from the left.
