Description:
From the Rum Jungle campground head down past the old hut site and descend into creek. Note that you should be trending right across the slope of the ground. Once at the creek follow the indistinct paths directly up the slope towards the east. There is around 250 metres of elevation gain from Rum Jungle to the East Peak.
