Description:
Three pitch route on south side of boulder dome. Guidebook says 5.9, but might be closer to 5.7. Route starts inside the gap just right of tree on small ledge 10 ft. up. P1 climb low angle dihedral with good handcrack to belay on chickenheads (7). P2 follow dike up and around corner to a belay on chickenheads (6). P3 climb slab to base of steep open book. Climb book and belay at chicken head with bolt (7). Rap from here or climb to top. To get to the top: Move belay towards summit and climb past 1 bolt and thin gear (9). A couple boulder moves (V0-) will get you to the top of the "Boulder". Decent: Downclimb boulder problem. Rap from chickenhead, or downclimb, to chickenhead with bolt. Rap to next chickenhead with bolt. Rap Pony Express.

This is definately not 5.9, I think the 5.7 estimate is more acurate, but it's nevertheless worth the effort. Definately a fun climb that gets a little runout on p2. Make the extra effort to the top for a spectacular view.
