Description:

From the parking lot, follow the main trail down the hill as it curves to the right. keep looking right until you see a large slabface about 40-50 feet tall. turn right off the trail towards the face. The route climbs the southfacing easternmost slabby face of east crag up out of a glade of deciduous trees that are close to the face. when you see a stump close cut to the ground (removed on the 9/6/03 Adopt-A-Crag day), under some blocky overhanging features directly under the slab, you're there. Start on the blocky ovehangs just to the left of the tree, and highstep/mantle up to the face, follow a LARGE left leaning crack, or face clilmb on the rough puddingstone (which might add a few 5.7/5,8 moves) . Top out over a boulder at the peak and build your anchor on features down in the "V"

onsighted as a early sunday morning rope solo lead. a fun little route. did a funny cross-legged double-toe jam at the crux to sling a rock tunnel for pro. good times.
