Description:

Most of this historic route is tree covered 4th class. It was wallfaces first ascent. the route is best described as a zigzag up the wide buttress right of the wiessner depresion. begin at a high point of the wide depression and traverst across ledges to the right of the woods.walk this ledge through the trewes untill it breaks sharply back left, heading to the depression again. angle back right and around a broken buttress(you can climb this butress on its left side). cut back left over steep rock and continue past odd 5th class moves to a right rising ramp or groove. this is the crux, the section above is 5.3 with a full 600' of exposure from the end of this zig turn left once again to a grassy finish. there are 3 zigzags total
