Description:

Just left of Broken Tree is another nice 5.10 ending at the Teachers Lounge. Take the Tower Trail counter clockwise. When You pass the large fallen column (with the Large Park Service Placard)on the east side of the trail, continue on approximately 100 paces. You will then see a dirt trail will heading off to the left. Follow this up to the base of the rock, and right till you are below the Teacher's Lounge. ...Climb a good moderate 5.7 crack, one crack left of Broken Tree to fixed acnhors (100 ft). The second pitch (140 ft) has a 10a crux move at a bolt. Step right after clipping it. More Excellent climbing concludes the pitch and lands You on Teacher's Lounge. Good easy tower 5.10a- Not sustained, but Way Fun!!! Rap route.

5 out of 5 stars New Wave

A lot of fun in one long pitch, we climbed this with a 60 m rope as my belayer was up high at a stunted tree. The crux is short but very in-obvious and insecure. This climb offers much more diversity of movement than most Tower routes

3 out of 5 stars Sport-like

w/ exception of the finish this is just a geared face climb. enjoyable, but not what you come to the tower for. Can link w/ a 70m.

4 out of 5 stars Good

Kind of a one move wonder. The handcrack above is stellar though.

5 out of 5 stars Fun and Popular

Fun easy climbing with short 5.10 sections and good pro. This climb is easy to access so it is rather popular.
