Because that start is hard. Harder than 12b, IMO. The rest of the route is solid though, and a super fun route too. Sent second try today, plus one try years ago.

Enjoyed this route - bouldery start, then need to pace yourself for the finish. This route was challenging for me due to the sustained difficult moves. Different beta for short and tall people - likely different difficulties. Bottom section, first 5-7 moves or so, feel hard, harder than 12b.

powerful start with mostly all good holds the rest of the way. although I hang-dogged in several places, i was quite happy to lead this with John Garcia's welcomed great beta throughout. Thanks John.

Highly recommended.. I've been one-falling the top but got lucky with the weather on Saturday. Ended up throwing away my bad beta and getting the send on my first try!
