Did the 5.9 variation this time, it's well protected.

We had it to ourselves on a cool overcast Thursday. Never saw any other climbers but heard a few on the big wall across the canyon. Rappelled the route without incident, other than knotted ropes.

Really enjoyed that second pitch! Awesome route overall! Did not enjoy rapelling down Solar Slab Gully...

I failed to see any 5.7 on the route, but hugely enjoyed the exposed 3rd pitch and protection on chickenheads! Now THAT was fun!

this route was so much fun. the one pitch was a bit run-out, but the nut placements seemed solid.

loved the 5.9 crack to bolt variation. this avoided the 5.5rrrrrrrr on the arete. got a touch lost wanting to follow the crack to its end. have to stop immediately by roof, and walk way left. seems unnatural to leave the corner/crack.

Fantastic route! Great holds, decent protection (a little runout on p2) and no kidding with exposure! Everyone should climb the first pitch once in their lives!

Swung leads with ladybug. Glad she had p 2, as I think it is the crux of this route. We rapped down Solar Slab Gully.

lead the first two pitches, the second is slightly run out at the crux but you come right back into jugs after it.
