4 out of 5 stars My "how am I climbing?" test piece

Fun steep climb with great holds. Take your rests so that you can climb above the anchors for the final clip. The holds are so much better. Great rests along the way.

5 out of 5 stars Fun from bottom to top

bouldery start leads to some fun juggy, steep climbing. Take your rests along the way and the top out won't feel so hard. I had not lead this in a couple of years. Felt good to get on it and send.

3 out of 5 stars Fun; pumpy.

A pumpy start leads to some easier climbing, then the crux, with a layback finish to the bolts.

4 out of 5 stars Still pumpy

Start is pumpy, the rest of the climb has some great rest stances followed by sustained moves.

4 out of 5 stars TR

Pretty easy TR. On lead, I couldn't get the first move. Then tried to go from the left and was scared to clip.

2 out of 5 stars Beware of bouldery start

First climb at the bird in 10 years. I enjoyed it and was a nice sustained warm up. HOWEVER BEWARE THAT IF SOMEONE IS INTENDING TO TR THIS ROUTE, THE START MOVES MUST BE SPOTTED - there is too much rope stretch to protect a climber from the intial moves.

5 out of 5 stars Pumpy and fun

SInce I hadn't been at the bird for a while, I decided to run it again. It was pouring rain, but, most of the top was still dry.

5 out of 5 stars Loose rocks?

Not sure what the prior poster is talking about. This has been a classic line for years and although someone has put "x's" on some rocks, they are not loose

3 out of 5 stars watch out for the tree!

definitely some loose rocks up there - big ones. make sure to wear a helmet. looked like one of them had been glued to stabilize, but were still loose. overall, pretty fun!
