hard for a warm up in the first day of climbing

Short balancey moves on a slab arete, then rest at a legde. Pull the roof and sort through all the chalked up holds for the jugs and underclings, then rest in the bat hang ledge. Continue finding good holds and do one bouldery move to a ledge, then "relax" in the coffin rest. Pull three more bolts and don't fall clipping the anchors.

2nd go. Went bolt-to-bolt and scrubbed the CAKED UP PILES OF CHALK. Super fun route with great rest and big, comfy holds

Took about 3 times - a couple of hard sections. Wish I had the time for a redpoint.

clean up to the roof. took to figure out the roof. took at the next couple of bolts, tired from the day before. fell right before the shelf. then got through the shelf, rested in the ledge and got the next two bolts clean. cleaning this was not fun, hit the tree very hard.

soooo sweet! very scary. first bolt is really high, anchors are REALLY high!

1st try 9/7/09, hanigng on every bolt after the roof
2nd try 9/13/09. Much better, 2 hangs, figured out the hands-free rests. Duh, when the shelves are not full of liquid mud, foot jamming works much better. Still can't figure out the good way to pull the roof. Everyone I've seen on it is able to keep the foot on the shelf below while reaching the pockets above the roof. I can't reach the same pockets without cutting feet, so I need to figure out something else.
