Small fingers worked in my favor.

intimidated to lead it, based on the grade, thin looking gear, and what looked like a blank section half-way up. turned out to be an amazing lead though. plenty of gear, and the section that looked blank had jugs.

it was a 87 degree day and i slipped off a hold while bumping to the crack. was happy that my belayer caught me. first trad fall that i can remember. phew. system worked.

thunderstorm was rolling in, so pulled on a piece of gear. will have to go back to get it clean sometime.

will take a second #0.3 bd cam next time. didn't need it, but woulda made it simpler to sew up.

It was getting cold and dark and I just wanted to get in one harder climb for the day. I was glad to have a good rest about halfway up because my fingers were on fire and it hurts bad. The locks are very secure though and I would find it hard to fall out of them.

can't wait to go back and lead it. seconded it in the dark, with rain coming on...

Took me two tries. I fell off the crux on the first go.

Great fun. Nice to follow this. Left blood all over it from the last knuckles of my left hand. Chalk this one up to a learning experience (no pun). I think I hung twice on the crux. A little awkward there, for sure. Balance on a good smear.
