It was really tough to get used to this type of rock. Pretty thin but not to challenging.

Short and sweet vertical climb on tiny knobs and small crimps. We made it into a multipitch by climbing the second pitch of Bunny Face/Bookworm.

I was tired, and it was the last climb of the day so when it seemed hard to get started I just used the crack to get off the ground and then cruised the rest of the route. Then I realized that the crux was that first move and felt silly. Felt prouder of myself for being able to pronounce the name than I was of that ascent.

My first 5.9 lead at Smith.

Some folks there (probably gym climbers) thought this was harder than a 10. I don't think so.
