always a fun climb, finally soloed it

this climb is worth doing, and a good alternative to the South Crack first pitch. From the top of BP, cross the sundeck boulder to the NW and you'll see the anchors for South Crack.

One of my very few trad leads. Great to practice hand jam while pulling the "roof"

Can't recall the details, I know I liked it. My first climbs ever were on the lower east wall, liz lip, layback, hangovers. It is a shame it is closed.

neat little climb...little bit of everything, slab, crack, etc. Seems a little harder than 5.7, but protected well.

Nice route. It can use one more bolt on the slab, but it is easy. Pulling the moves on the roof is really cool. You think it is really scary, but it is good handjam and then large holds. I am not sure about the rating, but I would go with about 5.9ish roof move. I used large hex just before the roof (super bomber by the way), and used #2 and #3 stacked together at the the roof crack to protect against the crux.
