Very good pitch for the grade. I like the variety on it and of course the roof pull which was fun and physical. I did a gear belay on the obvious ledge and we soloed up the short crack to the left for the walk off, no worries. Good to combine with Ball Bearing.

really fun climb, the roof stumped me for a while until i found a left toe, then it made sense. crack heading up to the roof is really cool

Didn't do so well - a fall and a take. (The difficulty rating here is inflated to bump up the concensus to the proper value - 5.9 - will delete this record later).

I first tried this route a year ago, and didn't do so well :(. My crack climbing skills have improved alot in the last year, so I decided it was time for a rematch. This time victory goes to Greg - got the redpoint. Though this time around I never felt falling was likely, I definitely think its one of the trickiest 5.9s I've done at JT. Definitely a route to do with your game-face on. In fact, later this day I did Ball Bearing, a 5.10a postively-sloped finger crack down the wall a bit, and that seemed easier - probably just more straight-forward.
