Two good pitches. 1st P, layback, 2nd P hand traverse.

I finally got to lead P1 after a few Arch to Wrist days and I'm glad I did. Great pitch for the grade and I'm glad I had a #4 protecting the awkward off-width move. P2 is great, and I found that continuing all the around the corner before starting up after the hand traverse is a lot easier when nursing some minor injuries.

climbed with Beau. he led and i followed.

Goodness I wasted way toooo much time using the high hands and the low hands, switching back and forth and back and forth. I am a nimrod, I should have just stuck my heel up on the horn and be done with it!

Fun climb. P1 offers great climbing in the offwidth (forget the dirty ledge) and of course P2 has the spicy, well protected traverse. The finish up the face is easy peasy.

We started on Arch and finished on Wrist. The exciting hand traverse is even more thrilling when one misses an obvious foot and belly flops to safety. Gotta come back and do this right, and also to do p1.
