awesome hand jams up high. a had a blast on this route

3 Other parties were on this climb while we were on it, but it was still an awesome route! We free soloed the first pitch and I got to lead/combine pitch 3/4. It was an amazing climb from pitch 3 to the top with perfect cracks all the way up! An easy 5.9 with the crux just being the last 10 feet or so.

a lot of wandering for a so-so route... pitch 2 was soaking, even in October. Pitch 3 was pretty cool, 4 too, pitch 5 just had 30 feet of stellar climbing. Felt soft compared to just about every other valley 5.9, maybe I just am better at that size? Still, worth the trip, but maybe not the crowds (took us 3 times to climb it because of a long queue).

The overhang on pitch two is considerably harder when it has water flowing.

The three upper pitches have excellent crack moves.

fun route, good day in the sun. Don't get stuck behind slow parties! We lost almost 2 hours to the couple in front of us! The pitches above the tree belay are rad, and I wish the .75 section on the last pitch was three times longer! So good!

lots of fun. Good, clean route that's easy to protect.

except for the 1st pitch. Watch the rope pull on the second single rope rappel, both parties in front of us got their rope stuck in the crack. Letting the rope slide down the slab is the wrong thing to do, whip it to the right. Trust your feet on the 5.9 section to tone it down a bit.

Got a late start and ended up climbing the last pitch in the dark and rap under the moonlight. It was a fun climb especially the last couple of pitches. Be careful of the rope getting stuck in crack.

Loved the tree rappel. Good climb even though the first two pitches are kind of blah.

This climb is really fun, especially the last pitch. I would recommend linking pitches 3 and 4 for an amazing 200 footer!
