REally should stop toproping this or I will wear it out even more. Must get my head round the lead and do it. Its only fear that stops me!

Started on the 5.8 as a lead. A quick demonstration of my poor friction technique, a pull on a nearby top rope to the first bolt, and then a clean lead from there.

A nice route but felt easier than the grade suggested? May be I'm getting accustomed to the rock peculiarities. Still a very worthwhile route.

onsight or redpoint, can't remember.

not sure of date, but onsight lead if I recall correctly

This is the 1st route we did at Quartz. My brother, Carl, led it. We started directly below the 1st bolt.
