4 out of 5 stars Chopped or Removed Anchors

Great route, only problem was that some of the anchors were chopped or removed. Be sure to bring some cams or nuts for making anchors!!! If you intend to protect the pitches, be sure to bring even more!!!

As for crowding, I think spring is the time to do it, there was no one else on the route (or the mountain for that matter). Weather was fantastic. The only issue was that the residual snow on the approach and descent made it necessary to bring crampons, boots, and axes in the packs.

Took our party of three about three hours to climb the route.

3 out of 5 stars ascent

strange route, really discontinuous. Can be done probably in 3-5 hours but due to massive cues we took almost 10!!!
Very little gear needed, 1/2 set of nuts, camalots 0.5-1 (or alien equivalents), 6-8QD, 3 long slings (120cm).

Climbed with a guide. Highly enjoyable multipitch outing though beware the crowds. Take La Flegere cable car then Index chairlift.
