Climb for gym newbies

Eric lead P1 then we moved over and rapped off Middle Earth. Nice climb!

Personally, I think the crux comes at the end of the crack. What the heck am I doing wrong? I feel like it's a desperate move to stand up on the huge feet at the end of the crack. Maybe I am just cracked!

couldnt figure out/commit to the move this time, so i came down and dave finished...rats!

quite a move through the crux on p1. got a bit off route at the top and decided to traverse over to the top of some other climb to top out.

climbed with seth and pavel. seth led. first wknd back from shoulder injury made the crux move feel harder than it really is. but still would have felt tricky to figure out on lead.

place better gear so you don't have to solo

I tried the crux several ways and was total freaked that I was not going to make thru the crux of 5.6 but then I remembered the beta my friend gave the day before. It makes a huge difference and is way easy! This climb bloodied and scraped and bruised me up! Not worth the pain through this awkward and fairly mellow climb! P2 was interesting. Added to a relaxing day. Thanks Steve.
