Location. Location. Location!
Such a cool spot over the water. It's a detached slab with parallel cracks running the 80ft rise from a comfortable belay point just above the waves that crash beneath. Rather difficult, but worth taking a stab at. Bring lots of webbing to anchor to the under cut bolder on top or the tree to the right of face. You could drop a nut/cam in the small crack right at the edge too.

One of the best routes in Marquette
This climb is fantastic because of the view and location. The climb is crimpy at times but fun. The anchor setup on top is tricky. DO NOT USE THE BUSH! I use a couple stoppers and a cam to equalize one bomber anchor and then slung the boulder too. Also, the rating is 5.10 but might be slightly overrated. might be closer to 5.9 if it were somewhere else.

Combat Cabin Fever
Couldn't wait any longer for spring so we decided to hit the rock regardless of winter. We added a #12-BD-Stopper higher up from the sling-rock so we could better climb a direct line up the middle to get more height with minimal rope drag/swing. Nothing like looking behind you and seeing all the ice in the lake and belaying in the snow. Fun stuff.

Ascent Note
I love climbing here. I sent the left route first try, and got the right route on my second attempt. The sun was shining and the waves of Lake Superior were lapping on the rocks. The view from the top is great!
